There are several reasons why Wi-Fi calling may not be working. Here are several common reasons:
- The latest version of iOS isn’t installed on your iPhone. You must have iOS 11.2 or higher.
- Your device doesn’t support WiFi calling. You must have iPhone 6 or later.
- You haven’t installed the latest carrier settings on your iPhone.
- You don’t have a Wi-Fi network connection.
- Wi-Fi calling is turned off in your phone’s settings.
- Your device will prioritize a network connection over Wi-Fi when the connection is strong enough to make and receive calls. To prevent using a cellular network, put your phone in airplane mode and make sure Wi-Fi is on.
- Your Parental Controls settings are on. If you’d like to maintain Parental Controls while using Wi-Fi calling, go to Settings > General > Restrictions > Allowed Content > Websites and select Limit Adult Content.
